Social typologies. Synthesis and drive of social dynamics
Keywords:
Geographical spacetime, Social typologies, Justice and social equalityAbstract
The ways in which geographical spacetime is organized are closely correlated with the development of the societies of which they form part. Thus, social and economic inequalities are reflected in the parameters of spatial justice, or in other words, in the ways in which each society organizes space, in a dialectical relationship of creation and struggle.
Social classes are an indisputable part of patterns of space occupation and urban and rural forms, and of each social group. In this way, an indivisible dialectical unity between form and content is proposed. This has physical expression, spatial configuration, urban layout, movement patterns, types of materials, volume of buildings, among other variables, and spatialtemporal correlation with settlement patterns, geohistory, and the very basis of community aggregation.
This material generates a review of different concepts and methodological contributions from a critical perspective and the use of social typologies in urban and social planning processes.
